Wines from Northern and Central Italy are the protagonists on June 29th at the restaurant L’Osteria de L’Ortolano, in the centre of Florence, behind the Duomo (Via degli Alfani, 9r) The wines are from Lombardy and Tuscany and Abruzzo all made in amphora of course. This is the fourth Dinner promoted by the Cultural Association “La terracotta e il vino” in order to divulge the culture of wines in amphora through wine tasting dinners whose dishes are created purposely to fit the wines.
On Thursday, 29th we will be guests at a restaurant whose history began in the 1960’s as a high quality Delicatessen and then successively, a high quality restaurant. The dishes on the menu are the result of a careful selection of prime ingredients prepared with great care and respect for their freshness and genuineness by the kitchen staff. Massimo Zetti and Marta Mezzetti are enthusiastic restaurateurs and offer a wide range of specialties of food and wine from classic to home-made dishes, from innovative to traditional. Not to mention desserts, biscuits, jams, and sauces.
