In November the return of Terracotta and Wine 2018, the only event in the world to be devoted exclusively to wines in amphora

Terracotta and Wine will be back again this year for its third edition on Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 November 2018. It will be as usual, promoted and organized by the cultural association “La terracotta e il vino” founded by Leonardo Parisi, owner of the terracotta workshop Artenova. As before, the event will take place in the suggestive setting of 18th Century Fornace Agresti, in Impruneta (Tuscany), where at the present moment we are holding amphora wine tasting sessions, again organized by the cultural association.

The 2018 edition of the event, the only one in the world to be devoted exclusively to Italian and foreign wine made in amphora, returns to consolidate the spirit with which it was founded in 2014: to spread the culture behind Amphora Wine and increase the dialogue between Italian and international producers who practice this ancient method of winemaking.

If this form of natural winemaking began as a niche movement, today it sees the ranks of its enthusiasts becoming more and more enlarged (and aware of practicing a stylistic choice, that of quality). The event “Terracotta and Wine” was created to promote wine producers from all over the world who believe in this timeless method of making wine. This year at Fornace Agresti about forty producers will bring their wines on show to taste. Almost all Italian regions will be represented, while from the rest of the world we will see the return of many producers from previous editions plus a large European representation with completely new names.

To keep up with the event step by step in its evolution during the coming months, we invite you to follow us on our Facebook page, on Twitter and also on Google Plus, which will be kept updated on the event.

“Terracotta and Wine 2018” will also be on Instagram and You Tube.
