Florence – The world of Amphora Wine is the grand protagonist for two days in one of the most evocative and emblematic locations of Art and Culture in Florence, thanks to the organization of the Cultural Association, “La Terracotta e il vino”. In the magnificent location of “Certosa di Firenze” nearly fifty producers of Amphora Wine from Italy and around the world, will be present on the 4th and 5th of June at the event “Terracotta and Wine 2022”, now in its fourth edition, with over 200 labels of wines made exclusively in terracotta. These are producers who believe and invest in the sustainability of viticulture, demonstrating quality and care with the application of reduced environmental impacts throughout their entire processing chain, from the vineyard to the cellar, right up to distribution. Enthusiasts, wine lovers, wine critics and amphora wine explorers will meet these producers at their stands on Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th to find out how wine was made by the Etruscans and before them, the ancient Greeks, re-discovering the “ancient” taste of Amphora Wine, increasingly more well- known and appreciated by the contemporary wine scene, both in Italy and abroad. The Media Partner of the event is VinoNews24.it, an online magazine that offers news and updates on the protagonists and terroirs of Italian wine, while Artenova Terrecotte by Andrea and Leonardo Parisi, based in Impruneta (Florence- Tuscany), leader in Italy in the production of terracotta jars for oenological use, reconfirms itself as the main sponsor of the event.
